I'm in a Show!!! And I'm modeling some new jewelry too! Come by the show and see some of this snazzy jewelry in person.

Summer is officially here and once again I'm participating in a craft show. This will be my first time showing at the Global Arts Festival so I'm super excited! Aziza is Modeling??

For as long as I've been making my own jewelry, I've always worn it. So in a sense I've been my own jewelry model. I've even sold a few pieces right off my body to complete strangers who've eyed my work. But after several years of making it, I've finally decided to "model" it right and by that I mean putting it on and photographing it myself, lol!). What do you think of these photos?

Citrine and Watermelon Tourmaline Earrings!

Check out these brand new to my shop earrings! They are made from watermelon tourmaline gemstones and yellow citrine quartz gemstones. 

Gosh, these earrings are so yummy, I almost want to eat them...let alone they have watermelon tourmaline stone on them...get it..."watermelon" tourmaline? Anyway they're made of such juicy goodness that I want to buy clothes just to match them up with something to wear.

They kind of remind me of pineapples too...maybe I'll head over to J.Crew or Ann Taylor Loft and rummage through their comfy cute tees to see if there's anything fruity or bright to match them up with.

My Jewelry New Years Resolution

Happy New Year all! I hope its shaping up to be a lovely year for you so far...i know it is for me! I don't usually write Resolutions for the New Year but this year I decided to break from tradition and set a goal for myself. My New Year Resolution is to expand my design scope to include simpler jewelry. Since I tend to use a lot of bright colors and fun shapes and designs, I often get requests for simpler designs and more mute colors.

So, look forward to more semi-precious stones and simpler designs to outfit you! Happy New Year everyone!

Where have I been?

I know...I know...I haven't written in quite a while. Where have I been? Well, I've been busy making custom orders for stores and designing new work. I've decided recently to incorporate more semi-precious stones into my work, so now there's a lot more colorful stones, mixed with glass and intricate beading.

I've also been working on custom orders of not just jewelry but also beads...

But I promise to report back more often and keep you guys posted on whats going in my studio. Incase you were wondering I'm still taking special custom orders for the holidays. You can also check out more photos on my flickr page.
